Estelle has been writing poetry since she was a child but walked away from professional writing for many years to concentrate on other things.
Estelle the writer
In the UK before having children Estelle worked as a contributing poet for a specialist magazine and was included in Poetry Souths 1994 Anthology. After publishing works on her first website, Estelle's poems were included in two USA anthologies, another was performed publicly and another was recorded.
Moving to Australia Estelle stopped writing for publication
However, when she began her arts degree in 2017, she once again connected to professional writing. This gradually rekindled her love for the written word and subsequently Estelle performed a poem at PerthSlam in North Perth. Something she hopes to repeat soon.
